"On the Road to Damascus"

Crispin Kashale is originally from Congo but as a gorilla fighter and a mercenary he criss-crossed the African continent and experienced unbelievable hardships. He was a member of Lauret Kabila’s rebel group in Congo. He was a fighter in Central African Republic and a mercenary on mission-impossible in Libya and in Cecily in Italy. He travelled to West Saharan Republic and Morocco for the same purpose. He was also once on a higher government position in the department of justice in his own land. Then, he became a refugee in Nairobi Kenya.

The boy who left home at an early age of only 18 without any preset destination was actually grown up in a Christian family. He remembers that his father was a pastor at a local church. But the young Crispin left his dad with out even understanding what Christianity was all about. At a time he was a humanist but then became a Muslim. As he explains in his own words he once travelled literary in the valley of death.

Finally, at certain critical point in his life, Jesus revealed Himself miraculously to him as He did to Paul on the road to Damascus. The life of Crispi Kashala is changed once and for all. 10 years ago he migrated to Norway where he settled with his wife and children. Crispin Kashale is now a full time pastor at his church, Mount of Olives Congregation (Oljebergets menighet), which makes its regular gatherings at Tollbugate 19 in the senter of Oslo.

The charismatic Pastor Crispin Kashale was our guest speaker at our church yesterday (10.10.10). He tells his incredible life testimony and shares the word of God. To listen to the audio message click here.
