Tokkummaan Waldootii Oromoo warra Wangeelaa Awuropa (TWOWA) dhaabbate

Konfransii isa alanaa kana irratti waldaan oromoo warra wangeelaa osloo tajaaljiltoota sagalee waaqayyoo barsiisan, kan farfatan fi kan sagantaa gaggeessan baayyinaan hirmaachisuudhaan konfransichaaf deggersa guddaa isheen gooteete dinqisiifameera.
Konfransii afuuraa kana irratti bakka buutotni woldootii gara garaa irraa dhufan hala woldaan isaanii amma irratti argamtu kan ibsan si’a ta’u barumsi sagalee waaqayyoo L.Dassalegn Mangashaa, Luba Tasgaraa Hirphoo fi Obbo Robsan Makotiin kennameera.
Konfransii kana irratti namoota rakkoo garagaraa qabaniif kadhannaan kan ta’e si’a ta’u woldootiifis kadhannaan addaa ta’eera. Guyyootiin konfransichaa yeroo itti waaqayyoo bifa addaatiin itti ulfaateef yeroo itti eebbi waaqayyoo bifa addaan itti mul’ate ture.

UNION OF EVANGELICAL OROMO CHURCHES IN EUROPE (UOECE)  IS FOUNDED

Union of Evangelical Oromo Churches in Europe (UOECE), a continental umbrella organization aimed at fostering unity among Oromo churches, fellowships and congregations scattered in Europe, has been established.

The establishment of UOECE was declared at the end of a four-day revival conference held in Frankfurt Germany between 13 and 16 May 2010.

Church representatives and believers from different Oromo churches , fellowships and congregations throughout Europe including Munich, The Netherlands, Frankfurt a main, UK, Hamburg, Denmark, Oslo, Hanover, Stuttgart, Hermansborg and OSG were participated in the conference.

The announcement of the foundation of UOECE was made a day after the church council meeting was held and discussed crucial issues of the organization. The council, among others, discussed and ratified the draft constitution of UOECE and elected the board of directors for a term of two years. Accordingly the elected members of the board of directors are: Obbo Melkamu Dureso from OSECG - Oromo Speaking Evangelical Churches in Germany (chairman), Obbo Robsan Mako from Oslo-Norway (v/chairman), Obbo Charu Batu from Frankfurt- Germany (secretary), Adde Lydia Geleta from Netherlands(treasurer), and Obbo Tolera Sime from UK(member). The council has also decided that the 2011 Europe-conference will be held in Oslo- Norway.

Meanwhile, the contribution of the Oromo Evangelical Church in Oslo (OECO) to this conference was appreciated. OECO has sent to Frankfurt its choir group, gospel singers, worship leaders and preachers who served diligently throughout the conference.

The rev. Tasgaraa Hirphoo from Hermansborg Germany, the rev. Desalegn Mengesha and obbo Robsan Mako both from Oslo Norway were speakers at the conference who delivered sermons on different topics.

Every single day of this touching and soul-blessing conference was characterized by a moving gospel message, a powerful worship and intercessory prayer sessions.
