Easter Festivity at Our Church

If there is one single big event in the history of human kind which changed once and for all the course of the history of humanity itself, it is the crucifixion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Resurrection proclaims the truth about humanity’s greatest fear, the fear of death itself, is no more. It heralds the ultimate glorious victory of the Son of God over death which shows us that the presence of eternal life after death is indubitable. And we are entitled to this eternal life. That is why Church celebrates every year the Resurrection and the hope it embeds. It was a proclamation of a truth that rang throughout the Old Testament, that endings are not always endings but are opportunities for God to bring new beginnings.

It was in such a great sense of hope and faith that our church celebrated this big event with remarkable worship and inspirational gospel teachings. We had a 3 days superb revival conference dedicated to this special event. The young charismatic Evangelist Waqe Jao was the speaker at the conference. His inspirational teaching was particularly focused on the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was really life changing. On the first day of the conference Evangelist Waqe did teach us about the Political and Religious background at the Time of Jesus’ Crucifixion. The second day’s teaching was entitled “Our identity in the cross of Jesus Christ”. The teaching on the final day was “the last 7 wards of Jesus Christ on the cross”.
